Our mission is to make it easier to use and learn Kamailio. Our cloud offering continues this mission by eliminating the need to manage the infrastructure for dSIPRouter, which includes Kamailio, our API layer and user interface.
The first use case released for dSIPRouter Cloud is the ability to obtain SIP Trunking Credentials so that you can easily do functional testing of a new media server version or some other SIP components without having to login to your SIP provider and creating new credentials.
Having the ability to route SIP Endpoints (aka phones) thru dSIPRouter Cloud will give you the ability to redirect SIP traffic to another media server without the delays of DNS or having to reprovision phones.
You will have the ability to spin up dSIPRouter in the cloud within minutes. We will handle the optional ability to have High Availability enabled with multiple instances of dSIPRouter.
Once you install - you can use the lease sub-command to have SIP credentials automatically created that expires in 30 minutes. You can plug those credentials into any SIP device and place an outbound call (US Only). The goal is to make it easier for people to do functional PSTN testing with credentials that expire.
We have a few different support options to choose from and one training course
You can download the dSIPRouter Command Line interface which will allow you to create SIP Credentials for Functional testing
